Level: Beginner 1a (Units 1–3)

Certificate: Certificate of Attendance provided upon request with 80% attendance*

What You'll Learn
Unit 1 – Meeting & Greeting
How to greet and introduce yourself
Classroom instructions & visual attention strategies (eyegaze, facial expression)
Fingerspelling & numbers 1–10
Unit 2 – Our Class
Identifying classmates & asking for clarification
Simple commands & locations in the classroom
Using numbers (0–20) & time phrases
Unit 3 – Needs & Wants
Food & drink vocabulary
Expressing preferences (likes/dislikes)
Making requests, offers & locating familiar objects
Basic emergency signs

*Certificates issued on request with 80% attendance
A minimum number of students is required. Courses may be postponed or cancelled if minimum is not met.
